about us
The Fleurieu Waldorf Education Association (FWEA) is a community-led initiative supporting families on the Southern Fleurieu who are seeking an education that nurtures the whole child — their hands, hearts and minds. Inspired by the educational work of Rudolf Steiner, we value childhood as a precious stage of life and create spaces where children can grow through play, imagination, creativity, meaningful work and connection with the natural world.
FWEA brings together families, educators and volunteers to build a thriving Waldorf community on the Fleurieu. Through our playgroups and developing school-age programs, we seek to create a strong sense of belonging, rhythm and connection. Our vision is to build an accessible, place-based education community that helps children become capable, curious and compassionate human beings.

Our Mission
To nurture children’s curiosity, creativity and connection through a living, community-based Waldorf education grounded in nature, imagination and meaningful relationships.
Our Values
We value childhood, community, creativity, connection with nature, meaningful relationships, and the freedom for every child to develop at their own pace.
